Rooted in Design Philosophy

For years, we at BOTA Design Build have believed that a workplace should do more than accommodate work. It should be considered around the people who use it — how they sit, move, meet, concentrate, take a break and spend their working day.

BOTA House is an expression of that philosophy. It brings together the things we have learnt make a working environment better. And we set out to build a place from the belief that where you work matters.

Beyond the Ordinary Office

BOTA House began with an old house and a generous garden. Rather than creating another conventional office, we wanted to make use of what was already there — the character of the house, the garden, the light and the sense of being somewhere that had a life of its own.

We adapted the spaces around the way people work, bringing in the things that matter: good ergonomics, thoughtful details, comfortable places to sit and work, and spaces that give you room to change your pace throughout the day.

The result is a place that feels collected and lived in, rather than an ordinary office. Somewhere you can make yourself at home, find focus and feel that the space is, in some small way, your own.
